This advanced piano class for B.M. music majors emphasizes sight playing, score reading, harmonization and transposition, advanced harmonic idioms, improvisation, ensemble playing, and performance preparation. Students earning a grade of B- or higher meet the department's Level III keyboard proficiency standards. Prerequisite: Music 162, equivalency examination II, or audition placement.
