This course provides a review and further development of the basic language skills introduced in the Level I course and continues to explore the history, arts, and cultures of Spain, Latin America, and the Hispanic population of the United States. Students hear and present brief informal oral presentations in Spanish, read passages dealing with contemporary cultural and political issues, short stories, myths and poems, and are encouraged to discuss and write about those things which interest them. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Spanish I or permission of instructor. When Offered: Spring term annually. Credit Hours: 4
