Theory of systems involving two-phase flow of liquids and gases or vapors: flow regimes including bubbly, slug, annular, and droplet, and combinations, homogeneous, separated, or dispersed flows are introduced. Single-phase flows modeling concepts and modeling methods based on the drift-flux model, and the two-fluid model are utilized in the analysis of gas-liquid flow behavior. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ENGR 2250 and either MATH 4600 or permission of instructor. When Offered: Fall term annually. Credit Hours: 3
