Investigation of atmospheric processes of particular importance in dealing with the environmental problems of air pollution: atmospheric turbulence, temperature lapse rates, wind profiles, plume rise, plume dispersion relations, urban dispersion models, wet and dry atmospheric scavenging processes, and inadvertent climate and weather modification.
