Semantic manipulation applied to case studies in approximate reasoning, linguistic modeling, decision theory, and cluster analysis. Expert systems architecture and applications. Symbolic manipulation knowledge representation, control structure, and explanation capabilities. Analysis of expert systems such as MYCIN, PROSPECTOR, OPS5, DELTA.
