An in-depth study of algorithms for mobile robots focusing on motion planning, localization, mapping, navigation, sensor fusion, and robot software architectures. The unifying themes of this course are navigation in known and unknown environments and structuring software to control mobile robots. Class activities include readings from the research literature and a series of programming projects. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: CSCI 2300 and MATH 2010 or permission of instructor.
