Most memories of the past are stories that circulate in the present through a variety of media. To probe the rhetorical mechanism of collective memory, this course combines exploration of several visual media with case studies that interpret the rhetorical potential of specific photographs, films, museums, and monuments. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: COMM 2610 or WRIT 1110. When Offered: Fall term annually. Cross Listed: Cross-listed with COMM 6800. Students cannot obtain credit for both courses.
