The study of biological mechanisms underlying behavior. Examines the anatomy, physiology and pharmacology of the nervous system in relation to sensation, movement and cognition. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory (including independent student research) each week. Offered in alternate years. Also offered as BIOL. Prerequisites: BIOL 1210, 1220 and a course in statistics.
