Composed of lecture, lab and clinical components, NURS 2440 builds on concepts that you learned in previous nursing courses. Focus is on variations in health throughout the lifespan specific to the regulatory systems. You continue to refine your skills in medication administration, especially IV therapy, during lab and clinical experiences. Your clinical experience will occur in an acute care healthcare setting where you will provide nursing care to patients experiencing variations in health. Prerequisites: NURS 2200, BIOL 2450, CPR certification.
