In this course you will gain a working knowledge of systems analysis and design methodologies and tools. You will work with a team of students to assess information needs of an organization, evaluating alternative systems solutions and using techniques to identify and recommend solutions. Special emphasis is placed on information engineering concepts and tools, including data and process modeling. Analysis tools for problem solving, managing projects and working as part of a team also are included. Offered every other year. Prerequisites: INFM 2500, 3800.
