Content focuses on factual information regarding health promotion, disease prevention, nutrition, exercise and fitness patterns. Experiential learning includes fitness assessment and programming in exercise, nutrition, self-responsibility and stress management. Lab instruction includes a variety of lifetime sport and fitness activities. The course is designed to help you accept responsibility for your own health, fitness and wellness. This course satisfies the health and fitness liberal arts core requirement. Offered each semester, in Weekend College and summer sessions.
