Survey of contemporary theories and empirical research on human memory. Topics will include sensory, short term and long term memory, levels of processing, organization, forgetting, and encoding specificity. Special topics include eyewitness testimony, amnesia, implicit memory, and false memory. Prerequisites: BC1001 and at least one psychology lab course. Enrollment limited to 20 students. 3 points
