A study of works from the Spanish-speaking islands of the Caribbean, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, in order to unravel the cultural traits, historical patterns, and politicoeconomic realities that these islands may or may not have in common. Prerequisites: "L" course: enrollment limited to 15 students. Completion of language requirement, third-year language sequence (W3300; W3330), and introductory surveys (W3349, W3350).
