An exploration of how various notions of seeing (as perception, as recognition, as revelation) have been treated in the visual arts and in literature. Class meetings take place in the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center so that students may make regular use of Vassar's extensive art collection. Ms. Kuretsky. Open to freshmen. Limited enrollment.
