The organization of the Department of Defense with emphasis on the Department of the Navy. This course provides a broad overview of all aspects of the operation and administration of today's Navy and Marine Corps. Additionally, the course will introduce naval topics such as rank structure, naval etiquette, naval history, naval warfare platforms and missions as well as basic naval leadership principles. The course will also cover basic military conduct and NROTC rules and regulations. Finally, the course will look at the role of the U.S. military in today's ever changing geopolitical climates and global conflicts. Credit Hours: 3
