Modern theories of personality are presented and compared. Using these theories, students analyze the processes by which people cope with intrapsychic, interpersonal, and institutional demands. Evidence on adaptive processes from clinical, field, and laboratory studies is evaluated. This is a communication-intensive course. Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: PSYC 1200.
