Focuses on the planning, data, analysis, evaluation and decision-making processes used to manage supply networks in order to gain competitive advantage and improve customer satisfaction. Compares and contrasts supply strategies and methods based on batch-and-queue and Lean principles and practices. Emphasis is on business-to-business relationships, the application of practices that eliminate waste, and inter-organizational capability building.
