Included are: thermodynamics as applied to phase and chemical equilibria in chemical and biochemical systems; passive transport models for diffusion and electrical conductivity in electrolyte solutions; kinetic models for simple and complex chemical reactions, including enzyme mechanisms; quantum mechanical models used in spectroscopy.
