Protein separation and quantification strategies; mass spectrometry and analysis of spectra; protein profiling, biomarkers, post-translational modifications; current applications; emerging technologies and applications. Individual presentations on relevant topics will be expected. (Students cannot obtain credit for this course and BCBP-4640, BIOL-4640 or BCBP-6640.)
