Course Description: Early photographic practices and theories are not terribly different from today's digital imaging, if looked at in the right context. This class will address these similarities, and cover many of the photographic techniques used since photography's invention. Topics will include the history of photography, hands-on work with pinhole cameras, large format cameras, scanners, digital cameras, and camera phones.
