Prerequisite: Not open to students who have completed ACC 301. Course Description: This course is designed to provide non-accounting majors with the knowledge and tools needed to understand and analyze accounting information in financial reports in order to assess company risk, profitability, and valuation. The different effects of various accounting methods on reported results and their implications are studied. Students will learn to create pro forma financial statements for use in valuing companies and making investment and credit decisions. Course Rotation: NYC: Spring - Odd years.
