Studio credits 2; Elective; Prerequisites: 102, 182 This studio course explores the major Western and non-Western styles of ornament that have been employed in architectural interiors. Through a series of lectures, demonstrations, and exercises, students will learn how to apply ornament to a variety of interior spaces using the rules of composition. Styles such as Classical, Gothic, Romanesque, and Modern as well as Asian and Native American are covered.
