A study of the tools and techniques of audio in theatrical production. Through theory and practical experience, the course examines the acoustic and electrical basis of audio technology, and teaches the structure of audio systems and the practical use of audio equipment and computerized control systems in theatrical technology. Prerequisites: THPA 11500 and two courses in Theatre Arts, or TVR 10100 and TVR 27100, or MUMC 14500 and either MUMC 24800 or MUMC 25000. 3 credits. (F,Y)
