Supply of and demand for health care services; causal and remedial forces of institutionalized frameworks, market mechanisms, and governmental intrusions. Analysis of pricing in terms of the above forces and productivity. Ideal economic characteristics of medical insurance, as contrasted with several proposals for national health insurance. Production for national health insurance. Production function, cost-effectiveness, and benefit-cost analysis.
