Readings explore changes in social structure, education, religion, science, and everyday life in the Victorian age; works by such authors as Dickens, the Brontes, Tennyson, the Brownings, Arnold, Gaskell, Eliot, and Butler. Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: WSC 1 and 2. Open only to students who have fulfilled the Writing Proficiency Exam requirement.
