Semester Hours: .5 Fall, Spring A traditional String Orchestra playing a range of literature from various style periods, both classic and contemporary, representing the core of literature for string orchestra. Its primary emphasis is on improving the ensemble skills of string players and familiarizing them with this very significant, but often ignored, body of repertoire. Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: Open to all students, faculty, and staff of the University. Audition and permission of department. Credit on Pass/D+/D/Fail basis only. See notes 4, 5.
