Semester Hours: 3 Periodically Using a case studies approach, we will explore both challenges and opportunities for people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds to work together in the pursuit of common causes. Strategies for overcoming cultural and structural barriers to cooperation will be assessed. Classroom discussions and roleplays will enable students to develop multicultural teaching and facilitation skills. Assignments will involve students both observing and directly participating in small groups attempting to accomplish shared objectives.
