Semester Hours: 4 Fall, Spring Limits, derivatives, techniques of differentiation, trigonometric functions, curve sketching, applications of the derivative, integrals, applications of the integral. Meets five hours each week. Prerequisite(s)/Course Notes: MATH 50 with grade C- or better or departmental placement. Credit given for MATH 71 or New College NMB 1 or QTB 3. Students wishing credit for both MATH 61 or 61A, and MATH 71 must receive prior permission from the department chairperson. See MATH 61 (Formerly MATH 19.)
