This course introduces students to the vertebrate body plan and the comparative anatomy of the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, and nervous systems of various vertebrates. There is an enormous diversity in vertebrate structure, and the emphasis is toward understanding how anatomical structures function.
