FORMERLY AR 3070 - ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN II - an intermediate design studio course. Informed by contemporary design theory, students synthesize site, environmental, urban, precedent and programmatic requirements in the design of small public buildings or installations. A major design project is prefaced and interspersed with shorter exercises in analysis, skill building, critique and fabrication. Portfolios layouts are also prepared.
