Ecotourism is often defined as travel to places of natural or ecological interest, while having minimum impact on the environment. In this course, we will exlpore and evaluate this concept of ecotourism through an anthropological perspective. First we will look at examples of ecotourism, and examine the myriad ways in which it affects cultures and environments.
