Clark This course explores philosophical questions about the aims, methods, and consequences of the psychological sciences (such as social psychology, developmental psychology, and cognitive neuroscience). What is the relationship between the kinds of explanations different disciplines give of human behavior and cognition And what is the relationship between any expert approach to human activity, and the ordinary, commonsense methods we have for understanding each other and predicting behavior Students read contemporary philosophical work that directly confronts these questions.
