Thie This study of primary feminist, womanist, mujerista analyses from a variety of political and philosophical frameworks gives special attention to the categories of difference and other(s), as these have affected marginalized people. Topics explored include interconnections among oppressions (e.g., race, class, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and age), violence against women in relation to other forms of violence (e.g., militarism, contemporary colonization, and rape of the earth), barriers separating women, and embodiment.
