Mulry This course introduces the theory of computing and includes such topics as automata and their relationship to formal grammars, Turing machines and other models of computing, undecidable problems, and computational complexity. The required credit-bearing laboratory COSC 304L must be taken concurrently with COSC 304. Prerequisites: COSC 102 and 290. Offered in the fall only.
