L. Underhill This is an intermediate-level course in photography that includes lecture-demonstrations, discussions, critiques, and studio, field, and lab work. Assignments are structured to reinforce foundations and introduce color material as well as specialized techniques in image control and manipulation. The course enables and encourages the student to use the camera and photographic processes and imagery as investigation and expression. Integration of a sophisticated conceptual framework with technical skills and a personal vision is encouraged. The student's cost for materials is $300-$500. Prerequisite : ARTS 24 1 and permission of instructor.
