J. Knecht Students are introduced to the basic theoretical and technical aspects of the motion picture in this course. Each student is required to make a work of art in video. Criteria for evaluation include the formulation of a relatively significant theoretical concept and competent technical execution of that concept. All the equipment is provided by the department. The student's cost for materials is $50-$100. All students enrolled in the course are required to attend the Tuesday evening Alternative Cinema series. Seniors may take this course only with permission of instructor.
