Special attention will be given to strategies for developing an environment in classroom that can facilitate students' construction of mathematical concepts. Emphasis will be placed on the Mathematics Standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). Prerequisite: Child Development or equivalent course (transfer).
