(Prerequisites: all general core courses) Provides a hands-on introduction to the basics of 3- D animation. Students produce basic 3-D animation and apply aesthetic and usability criteria for appropriate and effective use. Covers technological constraints of 3-D animation; appropriate uses of animated 3-D elements to enhance message delivery; and the management of digital assets for optimal delivery of media. Software instruction is in 3-D Studio Max.
