(Prerequisite: all general core courses) An advanced course in computer-aided graphic manipulations as used in Web authoring. Students produce images in Web-standard formats, applying aesthetic and composition design principles. Covers strategies to overcome technological limitations of intent graphics; software add-ons and extensions to aid graphic design; and digital design project management theory and practice to produce graphics efficiently. Software instruction is in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
