Curriculum and instructional techniques for working with the mildly handicapped will be studied. Environmental considerations, teaching methods, and instructional variables will be considered. Ways to design, implement and adapt lessons for the K-8 student with learning problems will be examined. A field experience component is required. This course must be completed with a minimum grade of C (2.00). Prerequisites: ED 371, ED 380 and ED 233, cumulative GPA of 2.40. * This course is a prerequisite for Student Teaching ED 361.
