Curriculum and instructional techniques for working with the mildly handicapped will be studied. Goals, content, materials, and teaching strategies for specific subject matter at the 5-12 level will be emphasized. Ways to adapt subject materials will be analyzed. A field experience component is required. This course must be completed with a minimum grade of C (2.00). Prerequisites: ED 371, ED 380 and ED 233, cumulative GPA of 2.40. * This course is a prerequisite for Student Teaching ED 362.
