This course is designed to enable students to develop an understanding of the concepts, materials and skills necessary for teaching math and science in grades K-6. Emphasis is given to current literature and research dealing with techniques of teaching math and science as well as actual practice in the schools. This course must be completed with a minimum of a C (2.00). Prerequisite: Acceptance into the teacher education program. (Spring term, junior year).
