This course provides the student with an understanding of the steps involved in software development. The course will start with a study of problem analysis and continue through implementation and maintenance of the software product. The class will be divided into teams and each team will work on a project with a final presentation of the project at the end of the class. Students who have taken CS 399 Special Topics Software Engineering may not receive credit for this course. Prerequisite: 30-33 credit hours in computer science and math.
