This course gives students the opportunity to take electives in areas of special interest to them since the topic covered varies from one term to the next. Special topics taught in the past have included artificial intelligence, compiler construction, data communications, and object oriented topics. A student may receive credit more than once for CS 399 provided that the topic is different each time. Prerequisite: CS 205 and permission of instructor.
