AR 425 - Art Internship

The student intern will be placed in an art workplace. Placements will vary according to the student's interests and art faculty recommendations. The internship is designed to give practical, on-the-job experience to complement academic studies and will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. Three (3) credits = 25 hours a week for five weeks or six (6) credits = 25 hours a week for ten weeks. In addition to workplace hours, weekly contact with the supervising instructor is required throughout the duration of the internship. Prerequisites: senior status, fine art requirements completed with the exception of senior thesis and an art faculty review. Graphic design concentration majors must have also completed AR 106, AR 130, AR 206, AR 220, AR 230 and AR 285. Fine Arts or Visual Arts/Business Administration Interdisciplinary majors must also have completed AR 202, AR 212, AR 213 and one other Art History course.
