The focus of this course is on the nurse as an evaluator of research. Students are able to describe basic research concepts and techniques and appreciate the ethics of nursing research. Evaluative skills are developed by critiquing current nursing research. Using peer-reviewed research articles, students analyze and summarize nursing research on a selected topic. Pre- or corequisite: MTH 310. Annually, Fall. (Louisville/Radcliff, Spring)
