Topics include: well-ordering, divisibility, Euclid's Algorithm, primes, linear and polynomial congruences, arithmetic functions, primitive roots and indicies, quadratic reciprocity, sums of squares. Other topics chosen based upon instructor or class interest. Prerequisite: MTH 212 or consent of the instructor. MTH 300 recommended. Alternate years, Spring '11.
