This course deals with the fundamentals of graphic design and layout as applied to fine art, industry and advertising. Emphasis will be placed upon the process of applying graphic symbolism to printed work. The use of materials and equipment appropriate to the printed work will be investigated through the production of advertising designs which will be developed to the point of camera readiness.
