Major topics include individual organisms' adaptation to their biotic and abiotic environment, flow of energy and nutrients through ecosystems, population dynamics, competition and community and ecosystem structure. Three class hours and three laboratory hours per week. Prerequisite: Two semesters of biology. Offered every other fall.
