The study of human organ system structure and function. Representative diseases/disorders are selected for each unit with Biology 4 Updated 11.10.08 pathophysiological processes stressed. Topics covered are cytology and histology, plus the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and sensory systems. Three class hours and two laboratory hours per week. Prerequisite: One semester of biology or chemistry. Offered every fall.
